Love Mommy

Veering back into the world of mommy-blogging for a moment. The kids and I had a bit of a rough afternoon, with a lot of crying, whining, and meltdowns. It was just one of those days. I went to hide in my laundry room (that's right, the kids never think to look for me in there) for a moment of peace when my four-year-old walked in and said, "Mommy, I have a surprise for you. It's a note!" Then he handed this to me:

He told me, "It says, 'Love mommy'" and gave me a huge hug and kiss on the cheek. Moments like that make it all worthwhile.
